Fireflies
Fireflies
We walk and talk, the crickets giggle
A TGV speeds through the hills
We get closer, little by little
Is it a dream or is it real?
You lift me over a wall of stones
The air feels warm, the grass smells green
The stars are brighter than I've ever known
The best things just come unforseen
Another kind of candlelight
is shining in this summernight
Fireflies glow green and bright
I know a place that is well hidden
Moonshine on your skin tonight,
but climbing stonewalls is forbidden
Climbing fences, crashing parties
Life is different with this man
Swimming in rivers, sleeping outdoors,
Jump last minute on the train
All because of that summernight
With another kind of candlelight
